Bank of America (BAC) is planning to raise salaries for junior staff by at least 20% beginning in 2015, Bloomberg reports, citing a person briefed on the matter. JPMorgan (JPM) is also weighing 20% salary increases for some junior employees, Bloomberg added, citing a person briefed on the talks. Bloomberg highlighted recent reports that Goldman Sachs (GS) will boost salaries for junior employees by about 20% in 2015, and Morgan Stanley (MS) will be raising salaries for associates and vice presidents by about 25%. The salary raises comes as Wall Street firms attempt to improve working conditions and discourage employee defections. Reference Link
