Bank of America (BAC) and IntercontinentalExchange's (ICE) New York Stock Exchange were among many exchanges, brokerages and traders that were sued regarding high-frequency trading by the city of Providence, Rhode Island, over allegations they rigged securities markets to divert billions of dollars from buyers and sellers of shares, reported Bloomberg.
