Communications satellite exports legalized, NY Times reports U.S. satellite makers will now be able to export communications satellites for civilian use for the first time since 1999, according to the New York Times. President Obama recently signed legislation that overturns a 1999 ban on civilian exports of these satellites, the newspaper explained.
