Terratec Environmental Ltd., a division of American Water's market-based subsidiary, American Water Enterprises, has been awarded a three-year contract by the Ontario Clean Water Agency, for the removal, haulage and utilization of biosolids. The work will consist of providing services for the removal and land application of biosolids from various wastewater treatment plants within the Ottawa Valley area. The value of the contract is approximately $200,000.

American Water Works Company announced that its Military Services Group has been awarded a contract for ownership, operation and maintenance of the water and the wastewater systems at Picatinny Arsenal, NJ. According to the agreement the award is estimated at a gross amount of approximately $297M over a 50-year period. The contract will be subject to annual economic price adjustments.
