Augme Technologies announced the resignation of Tom DeLuca, COO of Augme Technologies, Inc. and its wholly-owned subsidiaries, Hipcricket, Inc. and Geos Communications IP Holdings, effective Oct. 1. In conjunction with his resignation, DeLuca and the company entered into a severance and general release agreement dated Oct. 17. Augme's previously announced restructuring precluded an on-going role for a COO. Given these circumstances, DeLuca's early departure nonetheless relieves the company of a two-year employment contract and its heavy financial burden going forward. | |
