News Breaks January 3, 2013 16:19 EDT ARG Airgas acquires Metroplex Service Welding and Excel Welding & Industrial Airgas announced that it has acquired the assets and operations of two industrial gas and welding supply distributors with combined annual revenues of more than $30M. Financial terms of the transactions were not disclosed. Effective December 31 Airgas USA acquired the assets and operations of Metroplex Service Welding Supply and effective December 31 Airgas USA Excel Welding & Industrial Supplies.
