American Apparel reports preliminary September sales up 10% American Apparel announced preliminary total net sales for the month ended September 30 increased 10% to $51.1M when compared to the month ended September 30, 2011. Between the same periods, comparable retail and online sales on a preliminary basis increased an estimated 15% and wholesale net sales increased an estimated 1%. For the quarter ended September 30, total net sales increased an estimated 15% to $162.6M.
