Apollo Global said its transaction pipeline "appears to be steadily building," though in the current environment where valuations remain "relatively high" the company will continue to be disciplined and patient in deploying its funds. The company said it still expects its long-term deployment average to be in the range of $3B$4 billion per year in private equity. The firm said it takes a "long-term view" towards capital deployment, measuring it in multiple years rather than quarters, and it remains confident that it can identify "ample opportunities" to make its funds an attractive investments. McGraw-Hill Education has filed with the SEC for an initial public offering of its common stock. McGraw-Hill Education intends to apply to list its common stock under the symbol "MHED" but its filing does not yet make clear on which stock exchange it intends to list its stock. Private equity firm Apollo Global (APO) bought the McGraw-Hill Education business from McGraw-Hill Companies, which then became McGraw Hill Financial (MHFI), in 2013.
