Apollo Global said its transaction pipeline "appears to be steadily building," though in the current environment where valuations remain "relatively high" the company will continue to be disciplined and patient in deploying its funds. The company said it still expects its long-term deployment average to be in the range of $3B$4 billion per year in private equity. The firm said it takes a "long-term view" towards capital deployment, measuring it in multiple years rather than quarters, and it remains confident that it can identify "ample opportunities" to make its funds an attractive investments. McGraw-Hill Education has taken a EUR6M, or approx. $6.5M minority equity stake in busuu, a social network for language learning with over 55M users. The transaction includes an agreement that will give McGraw exclusive global rights to distribute busuu to B2B customers, including scohools, private language institutions and corporations. Additionally, the companies will explore adding McGraw-Hill Education's adaptive learning technology to busuu products.
