After Amazon.com (AMZN) signed a deal to obtain content from EPIX, Piper Jaffray thinks that the deal suggests that Amazon is increasingly willing to obtain more content in order to compete in the video streaming sector. The firm adds that investors may continue to be skeptical about Netflix (NFLX)(NFLX), given the increased domestic competition faced by that company. The firm maintains a Neutral rating on Netflix. |

That area in the prior two-years was important support and then resistance. When the shares broke below that level in August 2011, it presaged a steep decline in share price. Retaking that level and holding it therefore might encourage more bullishness for higher price. A failure to do so could potentially derail the current trend higher. |
