America Movil's Telcel mobile-phone unit was fined by Mexico's transparency agency, known as IFAI, for contacting a customer’s contacts without her permission and asking them for her outstanding phone bill debt to be paid, says Bloomberg. Reference Link

AT&T's (T) Chief Strategy Officer, John Stankey, speaking at an investor conference, said that Mexico, a fast growing market, is of interest to AT&T and the company has the balance sheet to do a deal if an opportunity arises, says the Wall Street Journal.
