American Software has declared a regular quarterly cash dividend on its Class A and B common shares in the amount of 10c per share, an 11.1% increase over the previous quarterly dividend rate of 9c per share. In addition, the board declared a special accelerated dividend of 20c per common share intended by the board to be in lieu of the regular quarterly dividends that have historically been declared in February and May of each year. Both dividends will be paid on Dec. 21 to shareholders of record on the close of business on December 8. | |
