Evercore ISI said it is not hearing of any equipment push-outs at Samsung Fab S3 Line 17 DRAM, as speculated today. The firm's checks indicate no change in shipment patterns related to Samsung Line 17 DRAM and Lam Research's shipments are not only up sequentially in the March and June quarters, but now also in the September quarter. The firm would use today's pullback in Lam Research to accumulate shares and reiterates its Buy rating.

Tesla (TSLA) CEO Elon Musk believes self-driving cars are "a solved problem... we know exactly what to do and we will be there in a few years," reports the Wall Street Journal, citing statements given at the Nvidia (NVDA) graphical processor conference Tuesday. Musk added that "I think [Tesla] will be the leader in autonomous cars that you can actually buy."
