AIG confirms talks to sell 90% stake in ILFC AIG confirmed in a press release that it is in discussions to sell a 90% interest in International Lease Finance Corporation to an investor group led by New China Trust Co. Ltd., New China Life Insurance Co. Ltd. and P3 Investments Ltd., together with China Aviation Industrial Fund and an investment arm of ICBC International. AIG said it has consistently stated that ILFC is a non-core asset.
AIG upgraded to Buy from Hold at Deutsche Bank Deutsche Bank upgraded AIG to Buy citing valuation following the recent pullback in shares. Deutsche believes concerns that Starr International could succeed in its trial against the U.S. Government are overblown. It raised its price target for AIG shares to $60 from $59.
