International Lease Finance Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of American International Group (AIG), announced that it delivered a Boeing (BA) 737-700 aircraft to Eznis Airways, the largest Mongolian privately owned airline.

Boeing (BA) announced today at the Paris Air Show a memorandum of understanding with Air Lease (AL) to purchase 33 airplanes. The Los Angeles-based leasing company has committed to order three 787-9 and 30 787-10X Dreamliners. Boeing looks forward to working with ALC to finalize the details of the agreement, at which time the airplanes will be posted to the Boeing Orders & Deliveries website as a firm order. ALC expects to begin taking 787-10X deliveries in 2019.

Boeing expects doubts about the safety of its 787 Dreamliner jet to linger for at least several more months, Raymond Conner, chief executive of Boeing’s civil aircraft division said yesterday, according to The New York Times. The problems with the Dreamliner's lithium batteries, however, have not slowed the development of other Boeing planes, including a revamped version of its popular 777 wide-body, Conner stated, the newspaper added.
