News Breaks September 19, 2012 10:25 EDT AES DP&L issues Request for Proposals for coal supply The Dayton Power and Light Company has issued a Request for Proposals for coal for use at its two Ohio River electric generating stations in Aberdeen and Wrightsville, Ohio. DP&L is seeking proposals for coal delivery for quantities up to 1 million tons for calendar year 2013 and up to 1.5 million tons for calendar year 2014. Proposals with alternative quantities will be considered. DP&L is interested in offers for all types of coal. DPL Inc. was acquired by The AES Corporation in 2011.
