08:56 EDTAEOAmerican Eagle announces new license agreements to expand global presence
American Eagle Outfitters is further expanding its global presence in the Americas and Asia Pacific markets with three exclusive multi-store licensing agreements. In South America, the company is expanding to Venezuela, Caribbean Islands and Central America, including the regions of Panama, Costa Rica, Honduras, Guatemala, El Salvador, Nicaragua and Belize with Grupo David Enterprises. The company is expanding to Columbia with Grupo Comercializadoras and is also expanding to Thailand with Pacifica Lifestyle. Stores will open beginning in the summer of 2014. Also in 2014, the company currently expects to open approximately 40 additional licensed stores.
