American Eagle Outfitters (AEO) announced plans to further expand its global retail presence with a series of licensed stores throughout Chile and Peru. The company has signed a multi-year license agreement with Eurofashion Limitada, a Chilean company and division of Cencosud (CNCO). The agreement includes American Eagle Outfitters stores, which will offer the American Eagle Outfitters and Aerie assortments. The first stores are expected to open in Chile in 3Q15 and in Peru in early 2016.

Belarus' state-owned fertilizer group, Belaruskali, has agreed to sell its potash to Chinese buyers at $315 a tonne for the first half of 2015, which is well below market prices which are currently about $330-$340 a tonne, said Financial Times, noting that Canpotex, the offshore marketing company jointly owned by Agrium (AGU), Mosaic (MOS), and Potash Corp. (POT), had been holding out for higher prices with the Chinese. Reference Link

Rambus (RMBS) announced it has signed both patent and technology license agreements with IBM (IBM). The patent license agreement authorizes IBM to integrate Rambus memory controller and serial link interface technologies. The technology license agreement will have Rambus develop and deliver high-performance memory interface design IP to enhance IBM systems and semiconductor offerings. Specific terms of the agreements are confidential.

After Greenbrier announced yesterday that it received 10.1K orders in the February quarter, Sterne Agee says that the company's strong order flow is especially impressive since it likely excludes much of the effect of crude by rail tank orders related to the new tank car standards expected in May. The firm says that Greenbrier's backlog now essentially covers about two years worth of deliveries. It keeps an $84 price target and Buy rating on the shares.
