07:03 EDTACMAECOM Technology design partnership awarded contract worth approx. $23M
AECOM Technology announced that GrandLinq, a public-private partnership in which it participates, has been awarded a contract by the Region of Waterloo in Ontario, Canada. The GrandLinq PPP will design, build, finance, operate and maintain a new at-grade light rail transit system between the cities of Waterloo and Kitchener. The contract is expected to be worth approximately $23M to AECOM. Work on the project has already commenced. Project construction is expected to be completed by 2017.
