AECOM Technology announced that a joint venture in which it participates was awarded a 5-year contract worth up to $28M by Australia-based utility company TransGrid to design and construct 90 substations in New South Wales. The joint venture between AECOM and Powercor Network Services, or PNS, will contribute to a number of project elements, including environmental-management and construction-phase support, as well as electrical, ground, structural, building design and engineering services. The project is part of a substation program with a total design and construction value worth up to $1.7B. | |
