The shares are up nearly 4.8% at time of writing, undoing much of the damage of the past week of declines. The stock is well above the 10-day moving average, with support now at $550.48. Resistance based on the current price of $552.77, is at $554.50. That level is at the highs of last week. Above that, next resistance would be at $560.63.

Companies are buying back their own shares at its fastest pace since the financial crisis to fuel a stock rally, reports the Wall Street Journal. According to Birinyi Associates, companies have bought back $338.3B of stock in 1H14, the most since 2007.
