| 06:31 EDT |  | VZ, AAPL, S, VOD, T | New iPhone will test LTE capability, WSJ reports With the arrival of Apple's (AAPL) iPhone 5, which touts LTE capability, more consumers may try those networks out, exposing holes in coverage and testing the networks' ability to handle heavy traffic for the first time, reports the Wall Street Journal. Verizon Wireless (VZ, VOD), AT&T (T) and Sprint Nextel (S) have spent billions rolling out new networks that promise very fast speeds for browsing the Web on mobile phones. While they have heavily marketed the technology, many of the networks aren't close to completion. Reference Link |

DISH is confident that its superior offer, which has been unanimously recommended by the Clearwire Board, including the majority appointed by Sprint, will be upheld and Clearwire shareholders will be free to realize the 29 percent premium represented by the DISH offer.” |

Sprint believes the transaction violates Delaware law and the rights of both Sprint and Clearwire’s other strategic investors under Clearwire’s charter and under the equity hHolders agreement. In addition to seeking to enjoin the tender offer, Sprint’s lawsuit seeks to rescind certain parts of the tender offer agreement and seeks declaratory, injunctive, compensatory and other relief. |
