According to new data from Kantar Media, Apple's (AAPL) iPhone had a 48.1% share of U.S. smartphone sales in October, while Android (GOOG) had a 46.7% share, Business Insider reports. Analyst Dominic Sunnebo notes that the last time iOS overtook Android in the U.S. was when the iPhone 4S was released. Reference Link
